Oxford Trauma Conference 2024

Limited Early Bird Ticket Sale

Join us live from Oxford

Open your mind to transformative and insightful approaches to trauma and mental health from thought-leaders such as Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, Janina Fisher, John & Julie Gottman, Linda Thai, Frank Anderson and many more, all set against the backdrop of the University of Oxford.

Choosing Oxford as the backdrop for The Master Series is a deliberate decision. It is a choice that rejects the notion of neutrality. We are working to acknowledge the ruptures in history that have shaped our present and that must be considered when facilitating repair in the future. After all, none of us exist in a vacuum, and neither do the spaces we work in. Repairing spaces with ruptured pasts means refuting the idea that a ‘neutral space’ can eliminate discrimination and marginalization

Connect with peers, spotlight your company, and earn over a year’s worth of CPD/CE credits amongst world-renowned architects of this field. Don’t miss out on this unparalleled opportunity to elevate your expertise in trauma and mental health.

Rupture and Repair

The theme of The Master Series: Oxford 2024 is Rupture and Repair; a theme which highlights our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. If we do not work to repair the ruptures in the field of trauma and mental health, we will inevitably contribute to them.

Reflecting on The Master Series: Oxford 2023, we saw a vibrant community sharing profound wisdoms. However, we also saw something else, we saw ruptures in the field of trauma and mental health. In a moving turn of events our wonderful community spoke to us and showed us opportunities for repair.

Within the realm of trauma and mental health, critical ruptures exist, encompassing issues of marginalization and discrimination, the inaccessibility of trauma treatment, and the prioritization of the ‘greater good’ over unique individual needs.

So, in a departure from the fear of ‘getting it wrong’ we are proudly dedicating ourselves to identities, populations, communities and concepts that are all too often silenced. We extend an invitation for collaboration in reshaping this field. Your feedback, thoughts, and criticism are invaluable as we strive for positive change.

Rupture

By delving into the nuances of rupture, we aim to create a space for introspection and empathy, fostering a deeper connection within our community.

Repair

Repair is not possible without rupture. The Master Series: Oxford 2024 will be a platform for healing, mending, and rebuilding through dialogue, learning, and collaboration, where we collectively explore ways to contribute to positive change.
